Uplift Lexington

Serve & Connect is honored to partner with Lexington Medical Center with the support of a Duke Endowment Grant to increase access to mental health care in Lexington County and establish a comprehensive and coordinated system of care delivery. A community needs assessment recently identified mental health care as one of the top three most prevalent health needs of the community. The grant money will fund a new program to provide a framework to assess and expand existing behavioral health resources in the community and deliver mental health care support and training for first responders. Partners will work together to address barriers to care and underlying issues to improve health equity for patients.
